The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Tameer Microfinance Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for online connectivity of all Tameer Bank’s outlets.
Tameer, a microfinance bank and a pioneer of branchless banking in Pakistan joined hands with PTCL, Pakistan’s largest national telecom solution provider to deploy state-of-art network infrastructure across the country.
PTCL has become a prime technology partner of Tameer Microfinance Bank and will provide maximum benefits through its corporate products and solutions when and where required. PTCL will provide enterprise-wide network connectivity to all Tameer Microfinance Bank’s outlets.
“Tameer distinguishes itself from other microfinance banks by being one of the first nationwide private sector, non-NGO transformed, commercially sustainable microfinance institutions in Pakistan,” Tameer Bank’s President Nadeem Hussain said on the auspicious occasion.
We aim to provide secure and low cost dedicated services to the economically active poor and in this regard we proudly announce PTCL as our prime technology partner in providing centralised connectivity at all our outlets, he added, added the president.
